In today's lecture, we will focus on how hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios in bird tail feathers and buttefly wings are used to reconstruct diet, geographic movement, and migratory patterns. Of particular interest is that stable isotopes ar a powerful tool for determining origins of specific individuals and breeding pairs.
