Discription; Agropyron Repens is a perennial graminoid. It is 50-120 cm high, and leaves are up to 13mm wide 6-30cm long. The growth rate is rapid so it is also called quick-grass. The flower color yellow, fruit and seed are brown but it is not conspicuous. Its flower blooms form June to July. It has low drought tolerance but high fire tolerance.

Habitat; Most common natural habitats are field, road and river margins, and the lanes between permanent crop plants in fruit orchards (Palmer,Sagar).
Usage; Couch grass has widespread use for people. It is used as compost, tea, medicine, etc. It has anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial effects, and demulcent effects, so it is very useful in pharmacological aspects.
